Lab Tested & Certified
Hemp quality assurance is evolving rapidly.
Laboratory testing and analysis is one of the most critical components in establishing credibility and to legally operate in the cannabis industry. One of the first steps in any negotiation involving CBD or THC products should be a detailed discussion of the COA’s (Certificate of Analysis), specifics of the testing being conducted, when they were completed and information on the laboratory where they were produced.
Reputable CBD products will always come with a related COA. That means it’s been third-party tested by an outside laboratory that doesn’t have a stake in the product. The purpose of third-party or independent laboratory testing is to provide an objective analysis of CBD products. These tests are used to determine the quality, purity and effectiveness of a CBD sample and to help identify pesticides and other harmful chemicals. This is important since hemp is a bioaccumulator, which means it quickly absorbs substances from the earth.
Bioaccumulation is the gradual accumulation of substances, such as pesticides or other chemicals, in an organism. Bioaccumulation occurs when an organism absorbs a substance at a rate faster than that at which the substance is lost or eliminated by catabolism and excretion. - Wikipedia
At Chroma, all of our ingredients pass stringent quality control criteria as tested by ISO accredited third-party labs. Each batch of CBD isolate and distillate is tested for potency, pesticides, microbial, heavy metals, & residual solvents.
Our COAs verify that our products have passed a series of tests in an accredited laboratory and meet or exceed specific market parameters. Each report contains the amount of CBD, THC and other cannabinoids found in the sample, thus providing an authenticated document for quality control. By meeting these specifications, it ensures product quality, consistency and safety, all of which aid in raising consumer confidence.
